Ray Turbefield

Local artist Ray has built a sound reputation for his Sussex landscapes over the last 35 years.

Self-taught, with several awards from local art societies for his watercolours and acrylics, his work is much collected both locally and abroad with many as commissions.

Nowadays, he finds that acrylic paints are the ideal medium to express his aim of fully realising the intrinsic beauty of a scene through the medium of colour.

Ray, who recently retired from a life in horticulture, lives with his wife in Bognor Regis.
