Members' Art Work
Desiree Hart
Desiree lives in West Sussex and considers Arundel her favorite place.
Being a member of the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, much of her spare time is spent sketching at the Wetland Centre.
She was shocked and saddened by the devastation left by the floods some years ago - much of Arundel, including the reserve, was left under water. So when she had the opportunity to become a fundraiser for the trust she jumped at the chance. Desiree had always admired the Artwork of the Founder, Sir Peter Scott
and thought it a great way to give
something back and help such a worthy cause.
Desiree works in most mediums and her favorite style is Chinese Brush Painting. She says she loves the delicacy of the 'meticulous style'. She usually puts two stamps on her work, 'Peaceful' and 'Good Health', because to be blessed with good health is the greatest gift of all.
Desiree is looking forward to her second safari with the Marwell Art Society - camping in Botswana.
Societies include: Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, The Chinese Brush Painters Society, UK Coloured Pencil Society, The Wildlife Art Society International and Marwell International Wildlife Art Society.
